The Dallol Bosso Region

This is a map that I made for a client, UW- Madison Professor Matthew Turner, for a report on Nigerian Geography. The region revolves around a flood plain that is a huge water source. The importance of this map cartographically is to make the flood plain stand out as wetter than the surrounding desert, but not on the same level as the rivers. It also deals with a lot of uncertainty, in the fluid locations of historic tribes.
