Click here to see the independent study work I did in Mapbox-GL.js for professor Rob Roth. It visualizes the deforestation over the past 30 years in the country of Belize. I used the same data that I did the Tropical Pox infographic, however instead of using the long-form infographic format, I created an interactive map. Users can slide throughout the different time stamps as well as filter out reasons for deforestation. I used Blender to create 3 different shaded relief maps of the country at different scales and generalization levels and then combined them into a rater tileset basemap using Mapbox Studio Classic. Note: This map is still in the development phase.
